Rails R 50 and R65 & HMS 1 & 2
Rails R 50 and R65
Two of the most frequently used rail types in rail systems are rails R50 and R65. R50 rails, which have a 50mm diameter, are used for main and branch lines. They can be used for high-speed applications and are used in light and heavy rail systems. Rails designated as R65 have a diameter of 65 mm and are utilized in heavy-haul, metro, and high-speed applications. Compared to R50 rails, R65 rails are more durable and have a higher load capacity
HMS 1 & 2
A subset of scrap metal known as heavy melting steel (HMS) consists of HMS 1 and HMS 2. HMS 1 is a thicker grade of scrap metal that includes items like railroad tracks, substantial machinery components, and farm machinery. A lighter grade of scrap metal called HMS 2 is used to make lighter products like cars, home appliances, and consumer electronics.
